The Discovery Bay Community Development Committee (CDC) has lost its bid to reverse the development of a dolphin cove facility at Puerto Seco beach.
On Friday, the Supreme Court refused to grant leave to the CDC for a judicial review of the licenses granted to the operators of the dolphin cove, by NEPA and the NRCA.
The CDC had objected to the construction of the dolphin cove facility, claiming that the area is a fish sanctuary and that excrement from the dolphins poses a health threat.
However, the court ruled that there was no merit to the application.
The court also denied an application to appeal its ruling.
