Juice WRLD has died at the age of 21.
The Chicago rapper is one of the most promising new artists in the game, and his career was just about to take off in a major way. TMZ was the first outlet to break the news of Juice WRLD‘s death on Sunday. Sources say the 21-year-old rapper suffered a seizure at Chicago’s Midway airport shortly after arriving on a flight from Los Angeles. Juice WRLD, whose real name Jarad Anthony Higgins, was walking through the airport when he started having a seizure.
The “Lucid Dreams” rapper was reportedly bleeding through his mouth during his seizure attack and was still alive when paramedics rushed him to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
Juice WRLD, who was signed to Interscope Records, had a big year in hip hop this year after scoring a number one album when his Death Race for Love project debut at the top of the Billboard 200 chart in March of this year. The Chicago native also lands some big collaborations with artistes like Nicki Minaj, Ellie Goulding, Lil U*i Vert, and the recently released single “Bandit” featuring NBA YoungBoy. He also collaborated on with Halsey on “Without Me” and on “Ransom” with Lil Tecca.
